The way I see it

My friend, who was once a Jehovah's Witness but who does not believe in commemorating birthdays or holidays due to their supposedly pagan roots, did say something I agree with: "Year-round expressions of genuine love are much more rewarding than the passing fancies of a sentimental holiday." I may not agree with him on everything regarding my faith, but I could not agree more on that! EVERY day should be used as a day to love God, our family, friends, and even those who might not love us back. The materialist things we may exchange for the day certainly won't last forever, and mean nothing anyway if we don't love each other.

In any case, I hope you enjoy the day, I hope it's awesome no matter what your relationship status is, and as my lovable wolf character Matt Johnson says: Always remember there's someone out there who loves you!
